| June 2011 We just finished the recording part of our upcoming CD project on our label, Mountain Roads Recordings. It was great to get back into the studio and work with Wesley Easter at Eastwood Studio. Both Zeb and Samantha contributed original tunes and enjoyed putting it all together. We even had the joy of having Owen make his recording debut on this project. We will be posting soon with details on when we will have the CD available. |

| August 2011 The 76th Annual Old Fiddler's Convention took place August 8 - 13, 2011, in Galax, Virginia. Our family always enjoys this convention as we wind down the summer meeting up with so many of our special bluegrass friends. All three Snyder kids took the stage in the individual competitions beginning on Monday night with Owen trying his hand at the youth guitar competition. Samantha competed Wednesday night in adult bluegrass fiddle and Zeb competed Thursday night in adult guitar. When the results came in late Saturday night (early Sunday morning) we listened in at home and are excited to announce that... Samantha Snyder placed 1st in Adult Bluegrass Fiddle and Zeb Snyder placed 1st in Adult Guitar |
